Austin Stewart

Austin Stewart is a civil litigation attorney who represents clients through all stages of the legal process. He enjoys working though complex disputes and developing clear, practical paths to help his clients achieve their goals. Austin takes a straightforward, client-focused approach to the practice of law, and works to ensure that those he represents understand not only what is happening in their case but also what to expect along the way.

Originally from North Texas, Austin brings a unique background to his career as an attorney. His perspective has been shaped by his time living and working in Southeast Asia, where he taught English as a Second Language. Austin has also taught as a public-school teacher in Dallas and Plano, Texas. His experiences in the classroom helped to strengthen his ability to communicate clearly and connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds; skills which continue to shape how he approaches his role as an attorney.

Austin earned his B.A. from Texas Tech University, his M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Texas A&M-Commerce, and his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law. He is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri.

When he isn’t working, Austin enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and reading. He and his wife stay busy with their twin daughters and they enjoy spending time with family, trying new restaurants, and staying connected with their community in Overland Park.
